Hardwood Logs – Large Crate

The large crate of hardwood logs is perfect for customers who like to buy in large quantities but don’t have the time to pack the logs away. The large crate of hardwood logs is available for nationwide delivery, and we aim for them to be delivered within 5 working days.

This British product is perfect for open fires and wood burning stoves as well as some log boilers. We aim to get the moisture content down to around 20% in our drying mill to ensure lower ash and a high calorific burn value.

The firewood inside the large crate of hardwood logs have come direct from forests in Northumberland, The Scottish Borders and Dumfries to our yard where we have seasoned, split, packed and conditioned them in our drying facility.

Unlike imported timber product your purchase will help sustain the UK forestry industry and the exceptional quality of home grown timber is worth paying for. We know from our research that our customers prefer UK grown products for many reasons and are happy that their logs have a lower carbon footprint than imported products.

PLEASE BE AWARE

The large crate of hardwood logs is delivered on non-standard delivery vehicles the driver is only obliged to deliver to the kerbside, he/she will drop the pallet using a tail lift and pallet truck it off the highway onto your hardstanding. Our delivery equipment cannot negotiate steps, gravel, steep inclines or un-made-up roads.  If this is not going to work for you please consider our bagged product and this will be useful to allow you to cart to your fuel store. We do not take any packaging away this is your responsibility to dispose of. Please feel free to chop the crate and use it as kindling, or turn the crate into a log store.
